Limit 30 people, including the bride, groom and children older than one year.

Rehearsal - One hour rehearsal any available day prior to the ceremony by appointment.

Photography - Use of the property, by appointment, for engagement photos and bridal photo portrait, if using a professional photographer

Ceremony - A licensed officiant will work with the couple to prepare a personalized ceremony not to exceed 30 minutes (you may use your own officiant, if you choose); the ceremony may take place at a site of the couple's choosing. Guests may arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled ceremony. The bride will be transported from the AirBnB to the wedding site in a 1936 Packard, if she chooses.

Caterer - You may bring your own caterer, or work with one of our preferred vendors. The caterer will have use of the cottage as needed and is responsible for all food- and beverage-related clean up prior to leaving the venue.

Parking - Parking is in the front field near The Cottage; handicap parking is close to the reception venue.

Bathrooms - Guests may use the Porta Potties in the barn.

Alcohol - If the couple chooses to serve alcohol, they must purchase a Banquet License from the Virginia ABC and an event liability policy naming Weddings at Rock Spring LLC and Silvers Family Trust as additionally insured. Alcohol - If the couple chooses to serve alcohol, they must pay to hire a bartender (one of our vendors) and a security guard (one of our vendors). No outside alcohol. Alcohol selections are limited to beer, wine and mixed drinks; no shots, straight alcohol or moonshine. The bar will close one hour before the wedding contract end time.

Vendors - Vendors may have access to the property, as needed, provided they contact Weddings at Rock Spring LLC, in writing, at least one week prior to the wedding ceremony with their time requirements. Unless agreed to in writing at least one week prior to the wedding date, the vendor must remove all equipment, trash, etc. from the venue within 90 minutes of the wedding contract end time.

Accommodations - The wedding
party will have access to The Cottage for 24 hours. The wedding party will have access to The Retreat until the end of the five-hour rental. The bride will
have use of either facility to dress prior to the ceremony. The groom will
have use of the other facility to dress prior to the ceremony. The bride
and groom may spend their wedding night in The Cottage. Check out
time is 24 hours after initial check-in.

Payment - If the wedding will take place within six months of the contract date, a non-refundable payment in full to secure the venue is due electronically within 48 hours to confirm the date. A $1,500 security deposit will be due 30 days prior to the wedding date.

Payment - If the wedding will take place more than six months from the contract date, a 50% non-refundable payment to secure the venue is due electronically within 48 hours to confirm the date. The non-refundable balance will be due 30 days prior to the wedding date.

Security Deposit - The wedding party is responsible for the behavior of their guests and vendors. Weddings at Rock Spring requires a $1,500 security deposit to protect against damage and theft. The security deposit will be due 30 days prior to the wedding date. The security deposit will be returned to the financially responsible party within 30 days minus any charges for damage or theft, if any.
